When working with your eCommerce store it is really important to know what percentage of your sales are new vs returning customers. This can tell you a lot about your customer service after the sale and information about the lifetime value of a customer. All that good stuff can be used later for your decision making. But for now this is how you quickly check the conversion rate of returning customers vs. new customer in Google Analytics.

Step 1: Once logged into your analytics click “Acquisition” then click “All Traffic”.
